Its super light weight, maybe 30 pounds. We had it running and easily have a conversation standing next to it without raising our voices. Its good for small loads, tailgating or running a average fridge during a power failure ... but not much else. Its light and easily carried. Downside, its light and can easily be carried. It doesn't care if you carry it or a thief. Its meant to be carried easily. Buy a chain and secure it to a tree or something that can't be carried. (Posted on 9/7/11)

A GREAT GEN FOR THE SIZE. HONDA IS TOP QUALITY

HOWEVER BE ADVISED THE AMP OUTPUT BY THE WEB INFO STATES 8.3AMP

THIS IS MAX AND SHOULD NOT EXCEED 30MIN AT THIS AMP DRAW.

THE NORMAL TOP DRAW IS 7.5AMPS CONTINUOUS.

NOT A PROBLEM,BUT JUST THE WAY IT IS BY DESIGN

I use it for tailgating and small outings. Good one but i wish I would have gotten the 2000 watt one, more versatile but if you only need a tv etc with small amount of power this is a good one. (Posted on 8/29/11)
