I had purchased a cheap generator a few years ago and although it work well the first couple of years, it began to have one little maintenance issue after another. Finally, after many, many hours of pulling and fixing, it was time to spend some money on a good one and hopefully get rid of the headache. Plenty of research lead me to the Honda I ended up buying. I'm a skeptic of major purchases on-line, but after more research, and looking at different pricing offers, no other place could match the deal of Wise Sales. The positive reviews of the seller and the product convinced me to make the purchase, and it was a good choice. The generator arrived 4 days after it was purchased, and exactly as described. After reading the manual a couple of times, adding oil and gas, it started for the first time on the 8th pull, and has started on the first pull ever since. I will finally get a chance to test it for a full weekend at the cabin, and I am not worried about it's performance or if it will start. This generator is highly recommended. And the price from Wise Sales beat all others I looked at, even with other rebate offers. I will be buying some accessories for the generator and will be purchasing them from Wise Sales. Purchased the eu2000i online sunday night, it was delivered to my door wednesday morning, omg that was quick. The generator comes with out oil so i purchased some 10w-30 synthetic. Its not easy to get the oil in the small hole without a funnel of some sort, thats why i purchased the extended spout. Problem is, it didnt arrive with the generator even tho the packing slip said it was in the box. I called Wise and was told>>oops, we forgot to put it in there,sorry abt that, we will mail it to you..I got it about a week later in my mail box...However, i put oil in the generator, added the gas, read the instruction book, and pulled the cord 4 times and IT FIRED RIGHT UP AND RAN PERFECTLY..I bought it mainly to run my Sears side by side refri/freezer during all our power outages from the severe storms we get in Alabama...I was concerned that the honda would have enuf juice to start the side by side, BUT IT DID WITH NO PROBLEM,,it even started and ran perfectly with the ECO switch on..This is one powerful little generator, and its super super quiet and very lightweight..The cost is high i agree, but we all know, You get What You Pay For...Im very very happy i purchased this generator instead of the typical Lowes or Home Depot ones......ps....wish it had a gas guage and hour meter.... Purchased my EU2000i thru Wisesales and was 200% satisfied! I ended up buying all the accessories for it thru them because I was impressed with their sales and service. The generator was brand new in its original box and it started right up (make sure there's oil in it first). I purchased this generator for my 36 ft sailboat, I use it to power a portable 7,000
BTU a/c , battery charger and house lights in boat, runs everything great, I did not want to go larger to power the 15,000 BTU central air in the boat, this 44 lb. unit is very easy to transport, also purchased the BERG extended run fuel tank ( have not used it yet) .. we are headed out on an extended sail and want to be comfortable at night to sleep . i did look here and thare and i did not find one that i like but i did like it was the 2000ii now have had it for 24 hours and i put 2 gal in and it has ran for 12 hours and is still going i am happy that got it
i gave a lot more money then i like but i am glad that i did the money i save in gas will make up for it i gave it a load test i ran a laptop a fan and a light and ran it for 12 hours and it is still going from a proud honda man (Posted on 3/27/12)

I could not find a local dealer to match the price offered by Wise Sales and there was also the bonus of no sales tax. Very prompt delivery and the gen runs great and is very quiet. I recently purchased this generator and a little over a year of researching which inverter would be the best buy. I decided to buy the Honda due to its impressive reviews and quality name. I have a Honda 6500EB and have had absolutely nothing but good things to say about it. I looked at the max outputs and amps and Honda was the only brand that would post how long it would run at the full output load.
I got the inverter today and took it out of the box, oiled it up and gased it. I read the owners manual to make sure I was not missing anything. I turned the choke on and with in three pulls it started. This unit is very quite compaired to other noisy generators. I could have a conversation right next to this inverter and not have to yell.
I tested out this inverter with the econ throtal on. The generator revs up when needed and idles down when extra power is not needed. I pluged a 1500 watt electric heater into the generator and a lamp and the generator performed flawlessly.
This inverter performed to my expectations and more. I would defently recommend getting this inverter and I will soon look into buying another inverter compainion to parrell with mine.
Wisesales.com is BY FAR the cheapest I have found anywhere online or in stores. No shipping and no tax....! I recieved my inverter in three days!!! I was figuring it would take about a week with the free shipping but it was FAST!

I got my EU2000i about a month ago, filled it with synthetic 10W-30 for long engine life. After the initial start, it would start effortlessly. Before this I had pretty bad experience with not one, but two Generac XP8000s. I had to return both of them to Lowes because they had defects. Anyhow, I was quite pleased how easy the EU2000i would start, and how quiet the model is. What impressed me most, was how much stuff I can ran with this seemingly smaller generator. Without reaching any overload levels, it powered my furnace (for 1,814 Sq Ft house), a 21cubic feet freezer and two sets of fluorescent lights, at the same time. Then I substituted the furnace with our 27 cu. ft. refrigerator with no problem. Last year's winds in Altadena left us without power for almost 6 days, and the EU2000i will satisfy our needs during similar emergencies. I don't need anything larger. Also, this unit is very small for easy storage and carrying around as part of our camping gear. I am new to generators, and would like some opinion of seasoned users. Would I do any harm to the generator if I keep it fully gased up all the time, but every 45 days or so empty the fuel tank from the old gasoline, run the generator for a few minutes until it runs out of the old fuel, then refuel it with new gasoline? This will allow the generator to always be ready for emergency situations and have fresh gosiline. Please advise. (Posted on 2/22/12)
