I am disappointed in the chute control rod--it does not stay in the slot (keeps popping out) so it doesn't always shift the chute from one position to another. Also, it froze when I used it so then I could not change the chute direction.
I think it will be OK once I get a little more experience. I like the weight and not having to mix gas, etc. (Posted on 1/30/14)

Throws snow a good distance and where you aim it (wind permitting of course).
Handles snow up to 18"deep pretty well- haven't had any deeper yet.
I doubt that it will do nearly as well in snow that has been allowed to melt and refreeze though.
But that's why I bought it- to allow me to keep up with the snowfall.
Cuts my time to clear my deck, driveway and walks at leat in half and saves my back.
Considering buying a second one to keep on the deck so I don't have to drag it up and down the stairs. (Posted on 9/7/13)

If the snow is light and fluffy it sends it flying. If it is heavy and wet, it won't go far. Multiple passes required. (Posted on 2/11/13)
